They must now also consider search engine optimization (SEO) to ensure their website appears as high as possible in search engine results.
Healthcare providers who are not utilizing SEO are missing out on a valuable opportunity to reach potential patients. In a recent survey, 80% of respondents said they would research a healthcare provider online before making an appointment. Of those surveyed, 60% said they would not make an appointment with a healthcare provider if they could not find information about them online.
With numbers like these, it’s clear that healthcare providers need to prioritize SEO if they want to stay competitive.
