Insights & Perspectives
Keep up with the latest eCommerce, Digital Marketing & Custom Web Development trends with E-dreamz.
Our latest new website launch is an automotive eCommerce application for Kooks Headers. We always enjoy the opportunity to build new sites in the aftermarket automotive space. Kooks is a bit unique in that they had previously worked with E-dreamz in the past, decided to try out Shopify, were unsuccessful in creating a Shopify solution that could meet their business needs, and ultimately came back to us for a brand new, fully-custom Echo-based website. We were happy to re-engage with the Kooks team and help them create a web experience that elevates their online retail business to the heights they needed.
Google is constantly changing standards, and keeping up with those updates can be an undertaking. If your site isn’t up to par it can suffer in many ways - from losing rankings to losing customers. Having a strong development/marketing team to review this for you is key.
One of the most challenging things about running an agency is determining when and how to tell a client “no”. Most agencies are apprehensive to decline a client’s request because of the desire to always make the client happy. And some businesses react strongly when they don’t get what they want from a vendor. But in many situations, “no” is the best answer for both the client and the agency.
Our latest site launch is for Pearl Dentistry, a Charlotte-based dentist group with a designer chic identity that elevates the concept and experience of going to the dentist to luxurious new heights. With beautiful offices in uptown Charlotte, Pearl provides patients a unique, high-end service that distinguishes them greatly from your average dentist. They needed their new website to be equally distinguishing. We were excited to meet that challenge!
Developing a website can be a challenge for some developers out there that aren't the creative-type naturally but it does not have to be. Check out these tips and tricks we've come up with to help streamline the process of building out a website based on a design mock-up. One thing to remember when planning for a website build, is that you can never provide enough information about your creative before the development team begins the build.
These days a person can pretty much purchase anything they can think of off of Amazon.com and it is fantastic for any person who loves online shopping or needs an item last minute and cannot make it to the store for whatever reason. I cannot count the number of times I have forgotten to purchase something for a party, holiday or event and Amazon has saved me with their fast shipping and a broad selection of products. Sound familiar, anyone?
It used to be we'd say, "It's not every day we get to work with a couple of NASCAR legends," but given our new partnership with FilterTime.com, that may no longer be true! FilterTime is a business venture spearhearded by NASCAR alums Blake Koch and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Their vision is to build the best, easiest and most reliable home air filter subscription service available. And to achieve that vision, FilterTime needed a top-caliber digital partner. E-dreamz is thrilled to be working with FilterTime to build, grow and scale this business into the success we all know it can be.
Starting a new web project and unsure where to start? Needing a little guidance on what you should be looking for since there is a lot to review? Does the project almost feel a little overwhelming? Here are 11 important questions to ask yourself and your team before you begin the process.
Given that one of our primary industries of focus is healthcare, we are always excited for the opportunity to design and build a new medical website. Rarely, though, do we get to work with organization the size and caliber of Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Associates (CNSA) - the nation's largest neurosurgery & spine specialty group. Our most recent launch is a completely revamped web experience for CNSA, leveraging a heavily customized version of the healthcare package of our Echo website platform.
Digital design as a whole has changed drastically over the last few years. In the last decade we've seen the emergence of responsive design which has changed the industry completely. Now in 2019 designers and developers are challenged with keeping each site unique and fresh while adhering to what works best for the web and each device or screen size.

They recently invested in a US-based headquarters here in Charlotte to spearhead plans for growth in the US market. E-dreamz is proud to have been selected as their stateside digital partner.
How often should you redesign your website? Most experts in the field would agree that about 2-3 years is the maximum lifespan of a website at most. However, what matters more than how often you are updating your website are the changes you are making and what goals want to be met based on the changes. If your site is not performing well or generating leads then it’s time to look into starting the redesign process.
As mobile and tablet use continues to increase, website users are expecting app-like elements on their desktops. At E-dreamz, our developers are always looking for ways to move in this direction. In this article we highlight our client, Carolina Fitness Equipment and focus on the development of a drag-and-drop idea board we created for them.
Recently we were asking to be guests on a local podcast, hosted by Shotgun Eddie & Company. Topics ranged from general business ideas to our Echo Platform.
E-dreamz begins each of our website design and development projects with a dedicated planning and definition phase that includes the preparation of a full wireframe document for the new website. Often, our clients struggle to grasp the purpose of the wireframe and provide useful feedback. Here’s what a wireframe is all about and five reasons why it’s critical to the overall custom web design and development process.
Our most recent website launch is one of our biggest ever. Albemarle Corporation is a global specialty chemicals company with leading positions in lithium, bromine and refining catalysts. Having recently relocated their corporate headquarters to Charlotte, NC, Albemarle was looking for a local vendor to partner with for their new website and ongoing technical support. E-dreamz is proud to have been selected as Albemarle's preferred digital partner.
The Laravel framework we are proud to say is the backbone of our Echo by E-dreamz software and for good reason. We chose it because in our opinion it is the best out there. It seems that most developers and digital communities agree.
Our most recent eCommerce launch delivers a full redesign of SheltonVineyards.com, the web home of one of the East Coast's largest vineyards. Shelton offers all of their wines for purchase online through the website, or you can visit their beautiful estate in the Yadkin Valley of North Carolina to tour the winery, dine at their on-site restaurant, stroll along walking trails through the vineyard, or enjoy a tasting. The vineyard is also premier destination spot for weddings, private or group tours, and corporate events. As a long time partner of ours, we are proud to enhance Shelton's web presence with a fresh new look built on our Echo platform.
No code base can be guaranteed to be 100% bug free. While programmers should aim to write code and software that is bug free, it’s inevitable that bugs will fly in from time to time. When they do pop up, the response can vary due to the nature of the issue.
E-dreamz's most recent eCommerce website launch is for a fun and unique new partner - Carolina Fitness Equipment.
